Ken King and Lou Patterson Formed Physical Action in late
1976 played our 1st PRO gig in lebbonon Il. on thanksgiving eve
of 1977 at a GREAT (and HUGE) club STONEHENGE an old
converted grain elevator that was one of the most popular if not
THE most popular club at the time!...(quite a gig for ANY band in
the area and for our 1st and a packed house was unheard
of!)...we played all over the area at clubs like STAGES,The
GRAINERY,the old Collinsville park ballroom,Fat Cats,Granny's
Rocker,MANY partys private events,halls etc..

we used to do shows with bands like MEDUSSA,Griffin and eveyone else from back in the day.....we recorded our 1st album (with local David smith
Productions they are STILL around!)..in 1979 called HIGH ENERGY as THE KENNY KING BAND....opened a show for Mamma's Pride out at
STAGES in 1980 (when they were the BIGGEST band in town!)...did a HUGE outdoor show (aprox 10,000 people!) out at C FOX LAKE in St. Charles
that same year....in the early 80's we all did side stuff (Ken was in local cover band OCEAN along with our current drummer Mike Chedester)..Ken
also did a nationwide tour with BANASTRE TARELTON BAND from Columbia Mo....that took them out west to the las vegas strip (they played with
Steppenwolf there) Hollywood and all over the USA!....in the late 80's we went with the J PREIST like look and changed the name to Kenny King &
the Killerz...and appered on a local tv on a show called street beat (god its emberresing to that watch now..lol)...we also met Ken Hensley From
URIAH HEEP and worked with him as he moved here to St. Louis for a time....Meanwhile, Lou was travling all over the country and the world playing
with various bands...and recorded a single with The PENETRATORS in the early 90s....STATE PARK ROCK & ROLL MACHINE b/w
PENETRATION...also toured up and down the east coast from Richmond Va to Philly with his band BUTCHER BOY...Lou also went to the U.K. in
1993 and played the VERY famous club Reskin Arms club in London...and spent 6 weeks or so in Scotland and played at clubs like THE VENUE in
Edinburough...and various clubs in Dundee and St. Andrews....with members of the average white band (including Hamish Stewart later in
McCartneys band!)...and recorded in one of the very 1st all Digital studios in the world at the time.. STUDIO 2000 in Dundee...moved back to the SF
bay area of California for about 7 years (lived in a house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1956 out there!)...then back to the Washington
D.C/Baltimore/Northrn VA area for a couple years...always coming back to STL several times a year...we again changed the name to KING LOUIE
and added Dan Artega and Ty Lasiter and we recorded the St. Louis ROCKS cd back in 2002 and it was picked as album of the week on
www.stlouisclassicrock.com in Nov of 2007 and was in heavy rotation after that and ended up with some of the all time STL listener voted on
songs!...we also recorded a Live show that year bits and pieces have gotten out...but due to a few tech problems in the sound recording has never
been properly released....we are currently being played on over 40 Radio and Internet Radio stations around the world....we are pretty well known in
Sweden,Germany and the U.K. (they still like our kind of classic sound over there)...and as you can see from our autographed stuff folder on the old
page www.myspace.com/kinglouiemusicstl (we haven't even really got started with that folder yet...lol) ...we have played,met and jammed with
some of rock's BIGGEST names and many of our HERO'S over the years!!!!!....started working on the new material in november of 2008 and hoping
to have it done later this year...in April of 2009 Ken Decided to take a hiatus and we added special guest guitarist Bobby Schneck (Slash's
Snakepit,Greenday,Weezer) and did a concert at Harrah's Casino in St. Louis Mo. and the music we are submiting is from that show...our current
